Reflections for Police Officer Ramiro "Ray" Perez

Hello,
I’m looking for Officer Perez’s survivors. I rode in this year’s LEU Road to Hope in honor of Officer Perez. I have his bracelet and would like to send it to his survivors.

Ms. Perez,
It was my honor to escort for the Police Officer's Memorial on Monday. I thank you and your family for the sacrifices you all have made for your husband to serve his community. If there is anything I can ever do for you or your family way over here in Wilmington, North Carolina, please let me know.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

My deepest condolences to the Police Officer Ray Perez family, friend's and colleagues.

Sad to see a loved one go. Many will cherish his memories and moments. But as for our Creator, Ray is now in his perfect memory (Malachi 3:16). Why is it important to know this? The Bible reminds us that soon this world and all it's wickedness will soon pass. Millions of Christians asks for this in our Lord's Prayer. Let your Kingdom come... and your will done on earth (Mathew 6:9,10).

This is good news for our loved ones who has passed. Please read John 5:25-29; Isaiah 26:19; 25:8, Apocalypse 21:3,4. In that good book of remembrance and through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we all have an opportunity to see our loved ones again. What can we do meanwhile? The King himself said, "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent"(John 17:3). Learning each day about God and his son Jesus Christ will result in living forever.

Again our sincerest condolences. (visit us at: JW.org)

Most merciful God, You hold each of us dear to Your heart. Hold all our nation’s law enforcement officers and their families, who are afflicted or affected by the COVID-19 Virus, in Your loving arms and tenderly draw them into Your life, together with all others who are living with the COVID-19 Virus. Assure them that they are not alone, and give them courage and faith for all that is to come. Strengthen those who care for them and treat them, and guide those who do research. Forgive those who have judged harshly, and enlighten those who live in prejudice or fear. Nourish those who have lost sight of You, and heal the spirits of those who are broken. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, who suffered and died, and then rose from the dead to lead us into new life, now and forever. In Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4]

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons (children) of God.” [Matthew 5:9]
