The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

I am beyond devastated by the loss of you and John. I have some great memories of us working together these past few years. You were my coworker, friend and, above all else, a brother. I first met you in 2012 when we both worked off-duty together, before our time at DOPD. I was happy when Chief Rivas and I recruited you and you came on board with us. Love you brother. Until you, John and I meet in the Briefing Room in the next life.

The strongest person I know was married to this man. She never imagined (none of us did) that his time with us on Earth would end so abruptly at the age of 50. His body is at Peace, His Soul is in Heaven and He is with our Lord. Words don’t do justice expressing how many lives he had touched with his own. To my hardworking, God fearing, Family Man brother-in-law; See you again when it’s my turn to meet our Lord. Love Always.

Officer Snead, for many years, you dedicated your life to protecting others that they may be safe. It took a small virus to take your life. Our Lord, who sees all and knows all, will reward you abundantly for your courage, dedication and selfless service. May God immerse you and your loved ones in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
