Officer Busch,
70 years later, we continue to talk about the sacrifice you made to the City of Tulsa, the State of Oklahoma, and the United States of America.
Each recruit class that enters our academy studies Tulsa's fallen officers. I had the privilege of studying you and your life. There is now a room full of police recruits that has learned about traffic operations, vehicle pursuits, and officer safety - lessons we will now pass down to others.
You have kept countless officers alive today. We are forever indebted to you for your service. God Bless You.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 67th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
