Most merciful God, You hold each of us dear to Your heart. Hold all those law enforcement officers and their families, who are afflicted or affected by the COVID-19 Virus, in Your loving arms and tenderly draw them into Your life, together with all others who are living with the COVID-19 Virus. Assure them that they are not alone, and give them courage and faith for all that is to come. Strengthen those who care for them and treat them, and guide those who do research. Forgive those who have judged harshly, and enlighten those who live in prejudice or fear. Nourish those who have lost sight of You, and heal the spirits of those who are broken. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, who suffered and died, and then rose from the dead to lead us into new life, now and forever. In Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

I was blessed to have known him as an officer, a father and a friend…my best friend. Ever since I can remember I can say this man worked hard to give us everything teaching us that hard work and sacrifice would open the door to success. He gained the respect of many by treating everyone with dignity and respect. His positivity and heartwarming smile always cheered up anyone he came across. My dad was the definition of what a GOOD MAN should be. Although his time here on Earth was short, in his 48 years of life he touched the hearts of many and made a difference some could never make even if they lived to 200 years. It was a true honor to have had the privilege to call this man my father. If there is life after this one my only wish is that he’s my dad again. I’ll love you and miss you forever papi.

Juvencio or as we called him “Juvy” was a tremendous officer. Always cared for his family as they were his priority. The safety of our students at RGCCISD and the department was his second family. A true hero who lost his life to Covid, and even after his passing continues to have an impact. He’s greatly missed may he Rest In Peace.
