Officer Laxson
Thanks for your service to the citizens of Clayton County and to the great state of Georgia. I too worked SWAT for many years, and appreciate you putting yourself in harms way to protect the innocent--despite the risks and danger often associated with tactical team operations. Your family and the police profession should be very proud of you. You did not falter and you stood tall for justice and didn't hesitate to sacrifice your life for others. Your sacrifice shall always be appreciated by your brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

“We in this world today, shall be remembered…We few…We happy few…We Band of Brothers…For he today who sheds his blood with me, shall be, My Brother. Lest ye say it proudly, We are but warriors for the working day.” Shakespeare
My heart aches for the family of Officer Laxson as they mourn and grieve their loss. But be assured that he is walking those streets of gold and resting in the ever loving arms of our Lord and Savior. May the Lord comfort your heartsick during this sad time.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the Children of God.” Matt. 5:9
