Greg was a man of integrity and an inspiration to so many people. Most importantly, Greg was a dad first. Greg will forever be the light in his children's lives that will forever shine into this dark world that we live in. Greg reached out to the Lord with out stretched arms for so many years, but today he is with the God that created him. Watch over us big guy!

Greg was many things to many people. A dedicated father, always talking about how proud his daughters made him feel. A man engaged to be married who was looking forward to spending his life with Kimberleigh. A man of deep faith who readily shared how God had saved him. A consummate professional who routinely impressed all of those around him with his skills and abilities. A man with an incredible sense of humor who always made a situation better. A loyal friend who I miss daily.

Greg, you and I have worked for years face to face, phone to phone, email to email. You were always there to help, fix, correct, and explain. Your first thought was always the welfare of the veterans, the troops, the service, the job, and then lastly yourself. You always said yes to the things that could be a yes and no and here is why to the things that just could not be.
But at the end of it all you are a cop and that is the best thing I can say. Thank you my brother, we have got the watch. Fair winds and following seas.

It is sad to lose a dedicated member of the VA Police. I remember Greg from when I started my VA Police Career. I remember him always trying to improve upon the training that the VA Police receive at LETC. Although I didn't have a close friendship with Greg, his knowledge and dedication to our profession is not lost in those of us he helped develop.

Greg, was so patient and always willing to stay over when teaching a class. I had the pleasure of his teaching my Accident Investigation, Leadership, and Report Executive Courses, Greg was very personable and a friend for life that I could always call when assistance was needed, or to just chat. Greg will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
