Reflections for Police Officer Ella Grace French
Hello Ella French, my name is Angel Arreola from the survivor of the state of Texas since my father died from a heart attack on 1/18/2009 at El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
I am a traveler been to 5 countries, participated in organization of Concern of Police Survivors, and the university student graduated. I came to Chicago, IL On February 2024 for my travel experiences that I enjoyed to walk around and stop by the headquarter of Chicago Police Department to drop off a gift for your mother Elizabeth French and found your star memorial on the glass display was beautiful.
Your mother Elizabeth is a sweetheart and kind women since I know it’s hard for loosing of a loved one and I prayed for you to fights for justice and I’m happy that a suspect sentenced to life imprisonment. Your mother is my similar identity for my US history teacher at my high school. I enjoyed my US history class to be my learning experience and I have different identity to remind my US history.
God bless to you and your families on earth for being a honor of valor with Chicago Police Department who may not be forget and continues to remember for being a sacrifices.

My name is Alexa R, I am a student who attends GAVC criminal justice. We were assigned to choose an officer and write about them. It is truly heart breaking that she was taken so soon. After reading a few articles on her, she really inspired me. I wanna become an officer just like her.

She was beautiful inside and out. We should be so thankful for her contribution to our lives - and especially in keeping other people safe to the best of her ability, in the most dangerous city in the world on this side of it.
The baby she saved is a testament to what her vocation, her dedication was really all about. It's time for the fools who want to defer to criminals to realize who is of more importance and value.
Thanks, Ella. God smiles on your legacy.

Rest easy sister. You were just starting. It hits me even harder because you were like me. We both have almost 4 years on and about 2 years apart in age. At 31, I feel like I have so much potential to rise and become a leader in our career. I'm crushed that your opportunity to do the same was stolen from you. I won't forget your name, along with Breann Leath and Natalie Corona, among many others.
