Reflections for Sergeant John Richard Burright
I cannot believe that the suspect was only giben 2 days in jail and two years probation! What a slap in the face to the memory of the two Troopers that were immediately killed, not to mention the Sgt. Who was criticality injured and now has passed after suffering for 20 years. My heart goes out to thr family and friends of all three Troopers. Go with God my brothers and sister.

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a law enforcement family member, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord, in Your mercy, hear my prayer. In Christ Jesus, I pray for all those law enforcement officers who have fallen in the Line-of-Duty. Amen.
Jesus proclaimed, during his 3-Year Ministry, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” [John 16:33 ESV]
