Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Christopher Dennis Cronin

After 4 years, it’s still hard not hearing your voice on the radio, knowing you were coming to help if you were on duty and always going the extra mile. We miss you, Chris, and you’re always in our hearts. Lex and I still talk about you all the time and make sure to tell all the newer cops how you always came to the rescue, especially on unsavory EMS calls no one else wanted to volunteer for. Old Bridge is a much smaller town without you.

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Police Officer Christopher D. Cronin of the Old Bridge Township NJ Police Department. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Police Officer Christopher D. Cronin. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called God’s children.” [Matthew 5:9 GW]
