Officer Darian seemed like a ‘kind’ man - very professional and methodical in his process.
It is such a travesty that such an outstanding cop is no longer with us.
I hope his family is able to recover from this great loss and his children will have other figures in their lives to provide guidance and support, in addition to his wife.
So sorry for your loss; just heart-breaking.

Saw a documentary on YouTube which saddened me greatly. No officer deserves to be slain that way protecting the public from the worst of us. Without realising you have sacrificed your life for others, we are eternally grateful.

Your family is in safe hands, You can rest sir and you will see them again. God bless you.

I am so saddened by what happened to this officer and how a career criminal snatched his life. But there is a valuable lesson to be learned from this traffic stop, and that is to never take your eyes off the suspect and his or her hands! While it may be a safety precaution to approach from the passenger side of the car, as evident from the dash cam video of this traffic stop, it exposes the officer to a lot of risk where just for even a slight moment the suspect’s hands are concealed. Can never let your guard down on this job.

Jarrott was killed by a cowardly man. He had no chance to fight back, but fighting back is not an opportunity afforded to everyone. It goes without question, that if he had the chance, he would have taken it without hesitation, and fought; out of the will to preserve the lives of those around him, and to remain for his family and friends. He was aware of the danger, yet not aware enough. Of course, a full deliberation on the information he received before the stop is warranted, necessary even. But more importantly, a full deliberation on the sacrifice he made. We must not forget that, this man had countless lives on his shoulders, even if in that brief moment, he was unaware. He had unwillingly sacrificed his life that day, so that others can keep theirs. But Darian Jarrott knew, long before he left us, that he was going to make sacrifices. When he looks down from above, he will not say "I wish I called out of work that day.", or "I wish I never signed up for that.", he will say "I wish I had a chance to fight back.", and "I wish I had backup". If he knew the breadth of the situation, and if he knew he was going to die, he would have sacrificed his life WILLINGLY. That is what makes Darian Jarrott more than a man. That is what makes Darian Jarrott a hero. May the memory of his character outlive the memory of his death. God bless you and your family.

I recently witnessed the full patrol car dash camera video of the death of this officer. It made me shudder with revulsion. The polar opposite of the reasons to live and exist. One to destroy and kill. The other to protect and serve. Both died. But one is in eternal torment for how he chose to live. The other is wearing a crown awaiting in peace and love for his family to join him someday. Officer Jarrott has shown me as others who have sacrificed their life what our time can mean while we are here. I just wish I had met him alive so I could have thanked him for choosing to give so much to a country that at times doesn't deserve any of it. Lose a loved one like this and then ask yourself about defunding your police. Thank you. I am eternally grateful.

May he RIP may the Lord Jesus Christ comfort his loved ones.
Again this shows how quickly a situation can get completely out of hand in a matter of seconds.
This again, took a fine young officer from the midst of his family, friends, co-workers...another officer fallen in the line of duty protecting society from gone mad hardcore criminals.
Heartbreaking and so much heartache & terrible grief for his family/loved ones, coworkers, friends. A young life ended too soon. You remain in our hearts & unforgotten, we thank you for your service, dedication, bravery, friendship.
