No words and accurately express the deep felt emotions over this senseless loss of such a brave man. This is too common these days and there is so little recognition for these selfless heroes and their sacrifice. God be with his wife and children, his friends and fellow officers and ultimately be with us all.

I am a retired police officer from the area (Deming) and grew up near Officer Jarrott's community. This tragic situation is far to common for those who wear the badge. Officer Jarrott is a hero in every sense of the word. Bless his family and his children and thank you for all you have done for your state and community. A hero is NEVER forgotten.

Deming PD

Patrolman Jarriott, respect and honor is your legacy. I know that doesn't release the burdens your family carries forward, but we will watch for them and aid them in their grief.
Rest peacefully now, true to your oath.
