A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Hancock County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

I met Mike when I was a brand new rookie cop. He was very squared away and a VERY good street cop. I learned so much from him in the time we worked together. On top of all that, he was a super nice guy!! So sad to hear this, my prayers go out to his family! Rest In Peace Mikey!!
