Sgt LaRue (Rue)!!! I still don't have the words to say how much you meant to all of us here at JEPCF!! I worked with you for 15 of my 18 years here and you were always such a pleasure to talk with. You advice to help us grow always there and your ability to make us laugh is unmatched. Even when sometimes it got me in trouble :-) I will never forget you and my heart still hearts! Continued prayers for your family, both personal and work. You are not, and never will be, forgotten!! We will see you again one day, up in those clouds!

Wow, I can't believe it's been three already you were one of the best always had a smile on your face and you knew how to bring a smile on other's face. It is a pleasure for me to be working on the housing unit that is in place for your honor, I have greatest joy looking at the mural in your honor everyday I am here at JEPCF. You have been greatly missed me and will be greatly missed by others.

A Man after Gods Own Heart Larue was. I thank him for the encouragement and sentiments he gave me when I started working in Corrections in 2007. He welcomed me with open arms and assured me if I had any questions or concerns do not hesitate to ask. He was a committed supervisor and always had an open-door policy and just a phone call away.

May His Soul continue to Rest In Heavenly Places, and continued prayers of comfort and strength for his family is my prayer.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
