Officer Brian D. SICKNICK of the United States Capital Police, we are extremely grateful for your dedicated public service, and that of all your colleagues, for your fellow men, women, and children of America, especially during this past unprecedented year. And we are even more sorrowful for your senseless loss. By the grace of God, we can and we will do better, in your honor, and for His Glory and the eternal salvation of all souls. St Joseph, Hope of the Sick, pray for us. Blessed Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us, and for a greater awareness by the next government's officials, for the dignity of all human life from conception until death, and pray with us, for the whole world. Amen.

My deepest condolences to all the family members of Officer Brian D. Sicknick. This incident was both avoidable and irresponsible on the part of upper management. Officer Brian D. Sicknick should be alive today, and if proper steps were taken ahead of time to put in place the 6 Foot metal fencing to keep protestors away from the Capital building then Officer Sicknick would most likely be alive today. Again, to the family of Brian Sicknick I offer my most sincere condolences and prayers to each member of Brian's family. I also expend my condolences to his brothers and sisters of the Capital Police. May Brian Sicknick soul forever rest in peace.
