Chuck was one of the best partners I had the pleasure of serving the City Of Cincinnati with.. He was above all, a loving husband and father to his wife and boys. He was a very loyal servant to the City of Cincinnati. He was very proud of the Uniform and badge he carried for them. I will never forget that night in 1978 when his untimly death occured. Chuck is just one of the many "Heros" that have fallen in The Line of Duty, protecting the citizens of our city and nation. But now he is in a better place. We all miss him, very much. Chucks death touched the lives of so many people. He was truly loved, and will always be in our hearts...

Whenever I hear of another lost hero it takes me back to the day we received the call from your dear friend Officer Ron Miller telling us of your sacrific. After all these years I still remember the pain everyone felt when you were taken from us but your dedication, sacrific and smile will always be remembered.

Your killer is up for parole, but know that there are many of us out here who are fighting the process as diligently as we can. You are a hero and will never be forgotten.
