Reflections for Police Officer Kurtis James Enget

Officer Enget assisted me when my cell phone was stolen off its charger while I was watching a movie at the Pavilion. He showed up promptly, was professional, straightforward and kind. After he took the info, I told him I thought it likely the thief was still in the theater. I asked him to walk up and down the area, looking big & scary, hoping that would motivate the person to ditch the phone. The officer was very gracious & did so. When the lights went up a while later, the phone was on the floor across the room, and I got it back.
I was shocked hear he had passed, and so sad for his family and his friends. I appreciated his service, and I hope many stories and memories have sustained his loved ones in these following years.
