How often is it that an Officer, while trying to HELP someone becomes the one needing help? Too often. You were doing the right thing for a person who needed assistance but refused to accept it, or maybe had no clue what he needed. You lost your life trying to save another and that is tragic beyond imagination.

Patrolman Sharkey, you are a true hero. You have not been forgotten. God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
