We the Family of sergeant Dennis Oliver jr would like to say thank you. Highland Village have the beat and blessed Police Department this side of Texas
they made us feel so loved that wasn’t a question or gesture that you did not try your best to make us feel comfortable.
We would like to thank all the other officers from the other departments that stood in for Highland village while Dennis brothers mourning the loss of him. We want to thank all the a officers bagpipes the officers on horses the flyover and The ladies and gentlemen back the blue the Highland Village fire department all the different police flags were very overwhelmed in a positive way and we just want to say thank you we can not name them all but please know you guys made our day.
Cop David Harney and your partner mrs Anita y’all are the best!!!!that wasn’t a question it wasn’t a time that we call that you did not deliver and we want to say thank you.

To honor Sergeant Oliver, POINT 27 sent 27 Thin Blue Line Dog Tag Necklaces, engraved with “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God” Matthew 5:9, to the Highland Village Police Department in Highland Village, Texas for Dennis’ partner and fellow officers. POINT 27 sent a Folded Flag Necklace engraved with “Greater Love has no one than this; than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” John 15:13 for Sergeant Oliver’s wife.

POINT 27 is a Non-Profit organization with a mission to strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families, by sharing scripture on Dog Tags and Jewelry called Shields of Strength.

Sgt. Oliver was an amazing man of faith, a family man, and a man who set the example for all of us to follow. His captivating personality made it so easy to approach him and engage in conversation with him. This attribute help build relationships within the community he served through positive police contacts with the residents.

I am so thankful that I had the privilege and opportunity to know and work with Sgt. Oliver over the past 12 years. I will truly miss his smile, his laugh, day to day conversations and hearing him call out my nickname when he saw me.

A great man gone too soon. Rest easy Sarge, we will take it from here. I love you and I will miss you greatly.
