Reflections for Sergeant Corey Pendergrass

This officer responded to my home when I found a bone in my back yard that looked like it could be human. He was a very kind man. I am so sorry for the loss of such a good man and officer here in Lauderhill. I've met some officers who could have learned a lot from him and he will be missed. My prayers go out to his family, friends and the department.

Officer Pendergras, for many years, you dedicated your life to protecting others that they may be safe. It took a small virus to take your life. Our Lord, who sees all and knows all, will reward you abundantly for your courage, dedication and selfless service. May He immerse you and your loved ones in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
