I am truly sorry for the loss of this here. A sacrifice that so few are willing to make. People brace enough to put their lives in harm’s way for complete strangers. I am reminded of Romans 5:6-7 which says, “ 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.” These men are heroes and giving their lives for a cause so much greater than their own. The greatest example of love and sacrifice like this is Jesus, these men, giving their lives to protect the weak are the epitome of selflessness. We all should strive to live a life focused on helping others as these men did. May God bless their families and loved ones and all their friends. I know I do not know you, but as I was visiting my uncle’s page I saw this and felt compelled to stop. We have all suffered loss and families of fallen officers will always have a special bond. I pray for God’s peace upon you that are dealing with this this sacrifice now and pray that God will bring comfort to you all.
Sincerely in love,

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.
There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Officer Garza, the miserable coward who murdered you has sent himself to a special place in Hell, and deprived the justice system of locking him away. I feel sad about that, but I feel anger at the fact that you and Officer Chavez have been taken from your family and friends by said coward.
We honor your sacrifice here and know that, so long as those who know and love you best, keep you in their hearts and minds, you will never truly be gone.
God Bless and you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
Abraham Lincoln
