Reflections for Sergeant Craig Vincent Johnson

I have worked with Sgt. Johnson on the same shift for the last two years. I have worked around him off and on most of his career. He was a fun loving professional officer who was always willing to help others. RIP my brother we will take it from here!

May God be with Sgt. Craig, his family, friends and co-workers at this most trying time. Make no mistake about it, Sgt. Craig died a true hero. He died protecting us, the general public, from harm. There is no greater love then to lay down one’s own life for a stranger. May Sgt. Craig Rest In Peace and May he never be forgotten.

As has been said many times. We start our watch with a silent prayer to make it safe through the day and return home. Unfortunately, many pay the ultimate price for wearing a badge. It is always sad to loose a fellow officer, even more so when that loss occurs in the line of duty.
RIP Sergeant Johnson, EOW.

Police officers are the fabric that holds a society together, preventing anarchy. Our streets would be jungles without these brave men and women. A part of America died today along with this officer. I watched the Tulsa PD on the tv show Live PD. May he rest in peace.

As the Daughter of a Police Officer my heart is heavy every single time there is another Officer injured or killed in the line of duty.
Especially in today's culture, the temperament of the majority is sad.

You are a HERO!!! Thank you for your years of dedication and service to our community. You made our streets safe first by getting the copper thieves and turning our highway lights on and then by always keeping the streets safe from those trying to cause trouble. You will never be forgotten. And in your final act of giving you saved lives by donating your organs to help others. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! May God bless your wife and boys forever. I’m so deeply saddened that a simple solution type of call would lead to murder! My heart goes out to the families of this fine Police Officer and my deepest sympathies to them.

To Sgt. Johnson’s comrades within the Department and those who worked with him, I’m so sorry. I’ve walked in your shoes. It is difficult and will take a long time to feel peace with your heart. This tragedy has forever changed your career. Don’t allow it to create bitterness but rather fill the wound with kindness to those who need and appreciate you. I’m praying Gods Hedge of Protection around you all. Lean on God in your darkest days to see you through. Trust... Vengeance belongs to Him.
