This is truly sad, I worked for the KDOC in El Dorado Kansas back in 2005 as a Correctional Officer and know very well the dangers and hazards Correctional Officers face every day when they report for duty. It takes a strong person to deal with criminals locked away in prisons. Thank you for your years of service to the great State of Kansas, you were a brave Officer and your sacrifice and dedication to public safety will never be forgotten.

Former KDOC Correctional Officer
