May you rest in God's hands and find peace in his love.
As you watch over your family and watch your child grow, I pray you will feel pride in the values you instilled in them and the love they carry with them each day. It is always with a heavy heart that I write these messages....as I know you must have been a very kind and caring person to put that uniform on each day and risk your life for the unknown number of people in the world that depend on you to keep them safe. It is heartbreaking that we couldn't keep you safe in the split second of time your life was taken as well. Though I don't personally know you, I do know your generosity and your presence will live on through your child and the memories of those that loved you. Rest in Peace

A Hero’s Welcome
By Robert Longley

Time to come home dear brother
Your tour of duty through
You’ve given as much as anyone
Could be expected to do
Just a few steps further
The smoke will start to clear
Others here will guide you
You have no need to fear

You have not failed your brothers or sisters
You clearly gave it all
And through your selfless actions
Others will hear the call
So take your place of honor
Among those who have gone before
And know you will be remembered
For now and evermore

Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Officer Mosher.

It was truly an honor and a privelage to have gotten to know you over the years. You were an honest to God Pillar of the Community and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great example you left me on how to be a better person, father, and friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your amazing family, countless friends, and all your brothers and sisters in the Overland Park Police Department. May God bless them all.

Officer Michael Mosher, you sir, WILL NOT be forgotten.
