Jonathon Parnell, Recon, Doc, JP. Fellow DPD Special Response Team member. A terrific Police and Tactical Operator. Recon always gave 100%, was known as a quiet but through guy. He always had your "6". I was so sad to hear of his untimely death.
I'm sure he is at those gates to heaven with those other SRT members who have passed and gave all they had for the job. Bless you brother in arms.

Many prayers to Captian Parnell and his many friends and family. It's so hard to understand why GOD takes such good men as we need them so desperately here on earth. I trust in GOD's decisions and rest easier knowing that Captian Parnell is working hard in heaven preparing the way for us when it's our time to join him.
In honor of my father, William John "Mac"., a retired Military Police Officer and Deputy Sheriff, miss you so much, you were the best dad ever, RIP

Recon, man I miss you so much and there hasn't been a day where I haven't thought of you. I keep in touch with JP2 often and try to help anyway I can, because I know that's what you who do for any of us (our crew). I really wish you were here, so I can get your perspective on everything that's happening in the world today and everything that is happening in policing. You will never be forgotten and continue to rest in peace #salute #realcop #leader #mentor #friend

My dearest cousin/brother. Our hearts continue to be heavy although we know God decided you had done all he sent you to do. Your laughter, your smile, your seriousness is all missed so much. Our family gatherings that we cherished so dearly will NEVER be the same. Our lives are all somewhat emptier without you. You made each of us so proud with your endless sacrifice to DPD & your family. God rest your soul. Until we meet again. I Love You

"The Monument"
I never dreamed it would be me
My name for all eternity
Recorded here at this hallowed place
Alas, my name, no more my face
"In the line of duty" I hear them say
My family now the price to pay
My folded flag stained with their tears
We only had those few short years
The badge no longer on my chest
I sleep now in eternal rest
My sword I pass to those behind
And pray they keep this thought in mind
I never dreamed it would be me
And with heavy heart and bended knee
I ask for all here from the past
Dear God, let my name be the last
