Officer DiFranco, you will leave a legacy behind. Thank you for serving our community, bravely, and without realizing the lethal problems you may sometimes encounter in your line of work. I pray for all of you daily; I have a relative who is also a CPD officer, and I pray the COVID19 does not take any more of our EMS personnel away from us. We need you all, here on earth! But please, go in peace, and watch us from above. Your work will always be remembered, and your friends and family will love and cherish you forever.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Chicago Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
