Reflections for Police Officer Audrey P. Capra

I'm thankful to Officer Capra and ALL the other Law Enforcement Officers and Fire, EMS Officers who gave their lives on 911 and well beyond that day. I myself as at Ground Zero on the afternoon of September 12th, I can attest to the chaos and disarray conditions first responders had to endure for LONG PERIODS OF TIME. Life was extremely sad and disheartening having to deal with so much chaos and uncertainty.

May God bless ALL the souls of every First Responder who lost their life. Also, I know for a fact Police Officer Audrey P. Capra will never ever be forgotten. The same is true for every known LEO who lost their life at or because of 911.

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. It is an honor to be first of what will surely be many to say thank you. Rest in peace always knowing that your law enforcement brethren will never forget your service and sacrifice. Merry Christmas to you and all your family and loved ones.
