Joe was everything you'd expect of a senior trooper - a mentor, a leader - but he was also so much more. He was a genuinely good-natured and good-hearted person who was passionate about his career as a Florida State Trooper. He will never be forgotten and should always be remembered for his dedication to his fellow troopers and to the public. My condolences to his family, who lost a great man too soon. My condolences also to the entire Fort Pierce District - a District that has lost a true mentor and friend.

Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, Trooper Joseph Bullock, of the Florida Highway Patrol, was Shot and Killed, in the Line-of-Duty, when he encountered what he believed was a disabled motorist on I-95 just north of the interstate rest area in Martin County and attempted to render assistance at about 10:15 am. One of the occupants of this vehicle fatally shot Trooper Bullock as he approached the vehicle. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father except by way of the Son. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” [Matthew 5:9 CSB]

“No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13 CSB]

Today's another day that I am beyond sad and sick to my soul that another brother taken at the hands of a good for nothing THUG at least he got his instead of a judicial system that would have slapped him on the hand and put him in prison for 30 years of appeals As I have said before our prayers for our Brothers and Sisters is comforting but punishment for the crime a death sentence that is CARRIED OUT and we will see a change until it's not our lawmakers talk and that's all no action Brothers and Sisters I dont know about yall but we need to band together and put pressure on these bleeding hearts that continue to hand down civilized punishment for uncivilized crimes I have got long winded again but when are we going to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND MEAN IT Brother God bless you and your family and Department God walk with you and all my Brothers and Sisters that go do this calling everyday Roman's 13-4
