To hear of death Deputy Sheriffs Whittman, how he was serious injured taken to A trams center, where a team of Physicians fight to save his life. When he awakes he and his family are given the grave news. He will live but the pink that shot him, has severed his spinal cord. How did deal with that news I alive, I came through the military without sound but one moment my life is changed. But he fight on, I going to P.T I going best this. As I fight on my therapists 2X Getting up, sitting up chair feels good but the breathing machine drives nuts. I fill fluid, a nurse has to use a special top to clear it,within a week my body feels tired, less energy and my breathing seems slower. I running fever, fear infection. I start Anti-biotics,my life turns left, left the infection spreads past my lungs to effect my heart then the kidneys within 48 hrs pass peacefully. But my family is anquish. The kid killed kimself, there will never be anwers. Why was he there, why did he have as gun, why did he shoot. Then why did I respond. I am very officer,as crazy as it sounds we run to respond to active shooter, who does that Blue Line. Did I know I die,no but my life was taken as was this kid.
My place from my passing will much higher than his, there is special stretch of brand new stars born outside the glaxay, that is where my life now shine. New bright Star in Heavens near the milky way.

In Honor of your Sacrifice and for your family and friends, I salute you as a HERO!

"The Badge"

He starts his shift each day
To respond to calls unknown.
He drives a marked patrol car.
A police officer he is known.

He's paid by the citizens' taxes
To make it safe on the streets.
But he usually has a second job
'Cause a waitress has his salary beat.

Now he doesn't know a holiday
'Cause he works all year round.
And when Thanksgiving and Christmas finally arrive
At his home he cannot be found.

He's cursed and assaulted often,
The one whose blood runs blue.
He seldom ever gets a thanks,
To some he's just a fool.

His friends are always other cops
'Cause people just don't understand
That underneath his badge and gun,
He's just another man.

He knows there might not be a tomorrow
In this world of drugs and crime.
And he gets so mad at the court system
'Cause the crooks don't get any time.

And each day when he leaves for work,
He prays to God above.
Please bring me home after my shift
So I can see the ones I love.

But tonight he stops a speeding car,
He's alone down this ole' highway.
It's just a little traffic infraction.
He does it everyday.

Well, he walks up to the driver's window,
And his badge is shining bright.
He asked the guy for a driver's license,
When a shot rang through the night.

Yes, the bullet hit its mark,
Striking the officer in the chest.
But the Department's budget didn't buy
Each officer a bullet-proof vest.

So he lay on the ground bleeding.
His blood wasn't blue - His blood was red.
And briefly he thought of his loved ones
'Cause in a moment the officer was dead.

In the news they told the story
Of how this officer had died.
And some who listened cared less,
But those who loved him cried.

Well, they buried him in uniform
With his badge pinned on his chest.
He even had his revolver,
He died doing his best.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.
