Our sincerest condolence for our hero Officer Kaulike Kalama, family, friends and companions. There many of us who believe in righteousness and like Officer Kaulike Kalama they risk it all. Please accept what the Bible say about evil people. In the book of Psalms 37: 11 " But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace" (New King James Version, 1982). So Just like Officer Kalama, part of God's purpose during creation and for the near future is for those who are meek to delight ourselves in the abundance of peace on earth. Thousands of christians every day ask in the Lord's Prayer Matthew 6:10 "Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." We surely can't wait for this to take place.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Kaulike was killed in the line of duty.

To the Kalama family, fellow officers, and all who call Kaulike beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support. I know that that you will receive that same kind of support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Officer Kalama gave to his community and the citizens of Hawaii and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on January 19, 2020.
