We gathered at the corner of Cronston Avenue and Beach 128th Street in Queens for the Street Renaming Ceremony in honor of Detective Maureen O’Flaherty.
Detective O’Flaherty passed away on Nov. 28, 2019 from 9/11 related illness. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Maureen in Brooklyn Warrants after the merge in 1995. She and her partner Fran Masari were excellent investigators who showed me so much being new in the Squad. Rest in peace Mo !!!

Im so sorry to hear about Maureen which i just read in the DEA Magazine. I worked with her in the Brooklyn Warrant Squad back in 1995. She was an excellent Detective who taught me how to do warrant investigations. Rest in Peace Mo until we meet again !!

I am totally heartbroken to only hear of Maureen's passing today on her first anniversary in heaven. I had the honor to work with her in the Kings Warrant Squad. She was a dedicated professional and a mentor. My condolences to her entire family. May she Sleep in Eternal Peace.
