Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Deputy Sheriff Chris Dickerson, of the Panola County, Texas Sheriff’s Office, was taken from us on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. He was shot and killed, in the Line-of-Duty, during a traffic stop. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father except by way of the Son. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

“And he [Jesus] said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” [Luke 23:43 ESV]

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13 ESV]

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 ESV]
