Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer
Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Though it was a crazy law, it was a law that needed enforcing and it took a special kind of person to face the risks associated with that enforcement. On this 79th anniversary of your murder I wish to say thank you, you are truly a hero.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
