Officer Carr, I just listened to your Chief tell the Fox News people about you. He described you as a kind, capable "gentle giant" who knew how to get the job done. He further said that you will truly be missed. You are a second generation Law Enforcement Officer and I salute your family for giving SO much!
The coward that took your life will not spend his Eternity in the same place as you. He does not deserve forgiveness for such a senseless act of violence against someone that is a protector; a good servant!
I will pray for your family and all of those that loved and cared about you here on earth as they grieve your loss.
Rest in Peace now, Brother. Thank you for your brave service to your state.

This man impacted my life and the life of my son. My son has aspergers and was prone to just running when upset. The last time that happened this officer sat and talked woth my son for almost an hour. My son has changed drastically and i honestly believe it was due to the time this man took to actually sit and talk to him.

Heavenly Father, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Police Officer Stephen Carr, of the Fayetteville, Arkansas Police Department, was suddenly and violently taken from us on Saturday, December 7, 2019. He was Shot & Killed in the Line-of-Duty while he sat in his patrol car in the police department’s rear parking lot waiting for his partner to return from inside of the police station at about 9:40 PM. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and colleagues by the power and protection of the Cross. We ask this through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can go to the Father except by way of the Son. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9]

“And he [Jesus] said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” [Luke 23:43]

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4]
