Reflections for Police Officer Norman Frederick Buchman

Fred, we worked together many years ago in the Northwest District. You had several encounters with the suspect, COWARD, that took you life. I too encountered that same coward just days before he killed you. I wish that I could have sent him to jail that night so he could not have shot you.
Just to put your mind at ease, I meet your sister Jeannie and she is still a greiving sister. She misses you more now than ever. I have seen that she gets to the Police Memorials and she really likes doing that in your memory.
As you patrol the North West side of Heaven, you will never have to deal with the evils of this world. God needed a good OFFICER to fill the Post Car NWD HEAVEN #1 UNIT 10-8.
YOUR SERVICE HONORED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF BALTIMORE.

Thank you for your dedicated service to Baltimore City. May you rest in peace, your efforts were not in vain.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).
We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.
Officer Buchman, you are remembered on this date of your death. You will always be remembered.
These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
...Gone, but never Forgotten....
