Dear Family (Blood & Blue), there are no words worthy of the grief that encompasses all of us. There are no words worthy of the anger and frustration we feel when the people we serve refuse to rise up in moral outrage against those who refuse to defend our defenders. Where are the marchers? Where are the protestors? ??? Nevertheless, we must stand together, weep together, and never fail to keep the oaths we took. We may retire, we may not be employed, but we always remain faithful, we always support and defend our family, our community, and those we swore to watch over. Bless you, each and every one.

Los Angeles County Sheriff (Retired)
