Reflections for Detective Brian Charles Mulkeen
The City of New York mourns the loss of Police Officer Brian Mulkeen who was chasing a suspicious character down in the Bronx. The suspect had an illegal firearm and used it to kill him. It is a time of mourning in the City of New York as another one of New York's Finest has lost his life. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, the entire New York City Police Department and the City of New York at this time of tragedy that has happened in the City of New York.

God bless you and your family and your Department brother you are not forgotten for your sacrifice. Again a brother taken at the hands of the thug element. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Punishment has got to be swifter a death sentence is a death sentence not 30 years before it is done.

Brian - my Brother. You will be missed dearly. I remember the fellowship that you shared with my nephew from the 48th when his brother passed away. You came to my sister's home to comfort her. I pray that the open hands that God has welcoming you will also comfort your family and friends and the NYPD. So Mote It Be!
