Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their Standing class “A “uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

Heavenly Father, our hearts and prayers go out to the Atlanta, Georgia Police Department and for the family, friends, and colleagues of Detective James J. Biello, of the Atlanta Police Department, who died as a direct result of gunshot wounds on Sunday, July 28, 2019 sustained on April 15, 1987 in the Line-of-Duty. Depart, dear Brother-in-Blue, out of this world into the arms of the Father who created you, into the arms of the Son who redeemed you, and into the arms of the Spirit who made you whole. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith [Inspired by 2Timothy 4:7]. Now rest easy in peace. We will take it from here. Amen.
Jesus teaches us the following:
1. “Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4];
2. “Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called God’s children.” [Matthew 5:9];
3. "The greatest love you can show is to give your life for your friends.” [John 15:13], and;
4. “I [Jesus] can guarantee this Truth: Today you will be with Me in Paradise.” [Luke 23:43].
