Reflections for Detective Luis Gustavo Alvarez
Luis
Thanks for your outstanding service to your city, state and to this great nation. I read somewhere that you were a bomb tech. No doubt you were in the sludge every day. It is unbelievable how many young policemen and other first responders are dying young from cancer in their 40s and 50s, due to breathing in those cancerous particulates day in and day out. You deserve our thanks as do others who died and or later were stricken with cancer due to the exposure at the site. Your fight for the rights of those stricken is also appreciated by all.
