Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Thomas P. Meredith

I was assigned to the same security flight with Thomas. I remember him as a big, fun loving guy. We called him Tiny. I was transferred over seas a year before the accident and a friend told me about it in later years. I’m so sorry this happened and pray he knew the Lord Jesus before. I wish I could have visited his family to give my condolences and tell them what a good guy he was.

I served along side of Tom, David, Marion and Rick. We belonged to the Strategic Air Command's 352nd Missile wing, together served as Security Police for the 150 Minuteman Nuclear Missiles thought out mid Missouri.
We all served on the same Fireteam and also on the CAT, (Camper Alert Teams) together. We had a lot of fun together riding around in my jeep CJ5 with the top off, chasing the girls around in Warrensburg.
Loosing my team members was a very tragic loss and one that I will never forget.
May God's comfort, blessing and care be upon the Meredith family and friends.
