My condolences to the entire Ansari Family and the Savannah Police Department. Upon hearing the news I was deeply saddened and reminded on how difficult the duties of a Law Enforcement Officer are and continue to become. Having family that reside in the Savannah, Georgia area the news of this incident hit a little bit closer to home. Savannah is a great community because of the people who share a common interest in making it such, including the Men and Women of the Savannah Police Department. Thank you for protecting my family and all who reside, work, travel and to those who may one day call Savannah home. Sergeant Kelvin Ansari, your BRAVERY and sacrifice will be forever be remembered. If you cross paths with Detective Michael Morgan Jr, tell him his friends and family miss him. Upon speaking with him, you'll instantly have made a new friend, one who has your back just like I'm sure you'll have his. Thank You!!!

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Savannah Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
