Justin, you were my coworker, my partner, my friend. Your smile was infectious. You were a hard charging, ass kicking warrior and we were all better when you were around. Thank you for everything. We will watch over your family and make sure they are safe and taken care of. See you On the other side.

Depart, dear Brother-in-Blue, out of this world into the arms of the Father who created you, into the arms of the Son who redeemed you, and into the arms of the Spirit who made you whole. “You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith” [2Timothy 4:7]. Now rest easy in peace. We will take it from here. Amen.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
Abraham Lincoln

Miles of red and blue
For one of the blue
Flags waving for as far as the eye can see
People in black and white saluting
As you prepare to rest forever
A family is missing you
You had the target on your uniform
You coudnt get it off
It stuck with you
Some gave you respect
And others hated on you
Your number is known across the
Nation
21 is heard all around
In the background I hear taps
Of grace
People say goodbye
As they leave not knowing when they will
See you again
