Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Detective Jennifer A. Williams

Lord Jesus, as we watch our nation’s brave law enforcement officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the law enforcement officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” [Psalm 23:4 ESV]

So many lives were lost due to the tragic tragic circumstances. Praying for this officer and all other law enforcement and fire personnel who fell ill or passed on because of the 9/11 situation. May the sick be healed and those who have passed on, Rest in the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Jennifer died in the line of duty.

To the Williams family, fellow officers, and all who call Jennifer beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support. I hope that you continue to receive that same kind of support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.. We shall never forget any of our 9/11 heroes.

This is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Jennifer gave to her community and the residents of New York and for the supreme sacrifice she and her family made on February 16, 2019

On September 11, 2001, many lives were taken by cowardly swine with a meaningless grudge; thousands of innocent civilians, Firefighters and Law Enforcement personnel from numerous agencies. The animals who did this must have known in their evil pathetic hearts that the dying would not end on that day or even in the weeks that followed. It’s been over a decade and still we lose our Brothers and Sisters from the fallout.

God Bless all have gone before and those who follow including you, Detective Williams.
