Reflections for Police Officer Paul Thomas Rutherford
Paul was a humble servant of the citizens of Phoenix. He was a career patrol officer answering the call on Arizona ground and abroad as a K9 handler in the USAF. He was the type of policeman who responded to the worse call, risking his life and the same officer who would be nice to an elderly woman who needed help. I consider him a friend, especially to those with whom he worked at the "Peak", Maryvale and Cactus Park. When you ride partners with a person, even a couple times, it is a lasting memory. You are End of Watch Paul, we have the shift.
