Shep is my great-grandfather..
His daughter Bertha M Brumley-Williams, my grandmother.
His granddaughter Mary Jo Williams-Stansbury, my mother.
His great-granddaughter Brandi M Stansbury-Reed, me.
His great-great granddaughters, Madeline D Reed & Emily D Reed, my children.
The story above is accurate. I have an article from the Tulsa Tribune with the story of Shep and his brothers: Jack & Tim who were also peace officers. Jack died from cerebral hemmorhage and Tom killed in later years on duty.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered

Shep as he was known to his friends was my Grandfather. I'm Daniel Shepard Brumley of Placerville, calif. I was born in Sapulpa in 1947 and my father was Carl Shepard Brumley, who passed away in 1993 in Burbank calif. My Grandfather's history was always very important to me and anyone with anything of interest would be greatly appreciated.
