May God watch over the family and fellow officers who serve and protect us. We can only imagine their pain. But we can sympathize with them and we must support them. Running to the danger, when all others run away from it. Selfless and fearless to the end. They now work heavens Beat. And are in God's hands forever. Ever watching down on us all. Thanks for your service.

Heartbreaking night for the Davis Police Department. A 22 year old Officer, only on the job for 3 weeks, was shot and killed while investigating a traffic accident in downtown Davis. You may have actually seen Natalie Corona before, on DPDs Facebook page. She's the same Officer that you saw deliver a Secret Santa package to a displaced family from the Camp Fire. She was highly spoken of by her peers. They called her a friend, sister, daughter, and an example of what it means to be a Law Enforcement Officer.
Dont believe me? Well I know all this, and I've never met her. I wasnt that lucky...
Officer Corona, your time was short, but you definitely made an impact. Now go forward with pride, your Final Inspection awaits.
