It is heartbreaking that we have lost another fine individual. Officer Corona was doing her job serving her community when her life was taken so senselessly. As the father of an officer shot and killed in the line of duty my heart goes out to Officer Corona's family. Her death is a loss to the community, her fellow officers, and everyone else who respect and honor our law enforcement officers. RIP Officer Corona.

This is just so heartbreaking to hear of another police officer gunned down, particularly one so young and new on the job. This young woman dedicated her short life to protecting her community.. That dedication, in the face of danger, is yet another wakeup call for stronger laws against those who harm those who risk everything to protect us ... Godspeed young Hero.. Rest easy..

These notifications have become so frequent that they come up on my phone and I shake my head and move on. But you... a year younger than me and just a few less months on the street, my heart broke. You had such a long career to do amazing things, and I will now live my career out in your memory even though we have never met. Everything I’ve read and seen about you over this last sleepless night makes me believe if we ever met I would’ve loved to be your partner and friend. Rest In Peace beautiful, we will hold the line from here.
