Immediately after the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA we participated in Christmas for Camp Fire Kids organized by one of our former Victims Advocates who has family in Paradise. Now I’ve seen a photo of you, carrying a bag of Christmas gifts like some beautiful, young, version of Mrs. Clause and it breaks my heart to think that YOU may have been one of our Santa’s wrapping and delivering gifts to families who’d just lost everything they had sent from families like mine who were happy to help...just like I’m sure you were as you delivered those gifts. I know that God in Heaven witnessed your service, and more importantly, witnessed your heart. For it is out of the abundance of the heart, the tongue speaks...and the body & mind follows. I know, in my heart, you heard those words “Well done, good and faithful servant.” You will be forever remembered. We have the watch from here! Now, rest in Paradise, sister.

Very sad, as all these deaths are. This one however is really painful with her dad pinning her badge on after his retirement and now he, along with his family, have gone from one of their proudest moments to an all time low in such a short time.
