Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer David Paul Romrell

Officer Romrell, 11 months is but a blip in time, and yet I have no doubt you made yourself well known and respected in that time. I do not mourn your killer, am not that good a person, but I DO mourn you and pray your eternal rest is always peaceful.

I thank you for your service to your community and this nation, you are truly a hero and so long as those who know and love you best keep you in their hearts and minds, and educate your 4 month old child as to the man you are, you will never truly be gone from them.

God Bless, Brother.

My heart felt sorrow goes out to Officers Romrell's family and the entire South Salt Lake Police Department. May You be comforted by the hand of the Lord.

It is a sad time for the South Salt Lake City Police Department, the City of South Salt Lake City, UT and the family of Officer David Romrell as they mourn the loss of this brave police officer who lost his life after getting hit by a car where the driver of the car was killed by his fellow officers and his accomplice was nabbed by a police dog as he tried to get away. He leaves behind a four moth old son and who will not know who his father is at all once he gets into school. It will be a sad Christmas season for the family and the community as they mourn the loss of this officer who was killed. He will not be forgotten at all.
