Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Theresa Sue King

May God bless all that are left on this earth to deal with the loss of these 2 officers— these officers gave their all trying to keep us safe & out of harms way!
I am sure they were welcomed with waiting arms in heaven- no I know they were.
Shift over- go in peace you served us well.

A great tragedy has occurred. It's hard enough to bear the loss of one officer, let alone two. We ask God for his comfort for the family of Theresa King.

A Prayer for Comfort:

Scripture teaches us, “Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted.” [Matthew 5:4 GW]

Heavenly Father, We come boldly and humbly before Your throne in sincere faithful and fervent prayer to remember the life and mourn the death of our Comrade-in-Blue, Deputy Sheriff Theresa King, of the Wyandotte, Kansas Sheriff’s Office, in the Line-of-Duty. You are the Light, the Love, and the Life. We do not sorrow as those who have no hope, for our hope is in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would comfort each family member, friend, and comrade of Deputy Sheriff Theresa King. May they be comforted through Your Word, encouraged through happy memories, and sustained by the hope of the resurrection for all who place their faith in You, Lord God. Amen.

God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Theresa King who went to her eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter her beneath Your wings eternally,
and bind her soul among the living, that she may rest in peace. And let us say: Amen.

A police officer should be remembered not by how she died, but how she lived! A brave woman has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Sister!

Tk was my best friend, she was like a sister to me, my family was her family. I lost the best friend that I ever had, of 15 years, and my children lost an aunt. She was an amazing woman, fantastic mother to 3 beautiful children, and a great officer. I love you There's, and there will never be a day that goes by that you wont cross my mind, and forever be in my heart.

AVENUE OF THE FALLEN…

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms,
badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement.
All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home…

This inspiring Poem is by Jim Weaver, retired LAPD Officer and former Idaho Sheriff. It is submitted with his approval, and we firmly feel such ceremonies actually occur in the Heavenly Realm. Visit… ImagineHeaven.net…and may we all gain comfort accordingly as MagnificentReunions await…
