Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Patrick Thomas Rohrer
Brother, you were wronged by an animal and while he is vilified, you are mourned and honored. It brings little consolation to those you leave behind who know and love you best, but so long as they keep you forever in their hearts and minds, you will never truly be gone from them.
God Bless you Deputy Rohrer and may you Rest in Peace.

A Prayer for Deputy Sheriff Patrick Rohrer:
Heavenly Father, I boldly and humbly come before Your throne in sincere faithful and fervent prayer as we remember in this moment our Brother-in-Blue, Deputy Sheriff Patrick Rohrer, of the Wyandotte County, Kansas Sheriff’s Office, who sacrificed his life in the Line-of-Duty. We recall with gratitude and respect all that he stood for in this life. Help us to live in the companionship of his spirit. May we be kind to the family, friends, and colleagues he loved; devoted to the country in which he served; and loyal to the causes which he championed in law enforcement. For the Scripture says: God blesses those who work for peace for they will be called the children of God ; there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends; I [Jesus] assure you, today you will be with me in Paradise, and; God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Thus, in our lifetime, may Deputy Sheriff Patrick Rohrer live on, to our great comfort, to the betterment of Your creation, and to the furthering of Your most Holy Will. Amen.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.
There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.
